Readers: USPS can cut Saturday mail service Houston Business Journal
A vast majority of Houston Business Journal readers don’t expect the end of Saturday mail delivery would impact them, according to those who responded to last week’s BusinessPulse Survey.
When asked what kind of impact it would have on their business, 81 percent said none. There were 905 total responses.
However, 14 percent said it would have a big impact.
The question sparked a lively discussion between readers, some who thought it was a good move on the part of the United States Postal Service given the hard economic times. Others thought the USPS should make further cuts such as only delivering mail three days a week.
The BusinessPulse Survey is a non-scientific poll of HBJ readers.
